We carried out the design and complete construction of a new pool area at Hotel Catalunya Park in Ribes de Freser, as part of the outdoor renovation project of this iconic hotel with more than three decades of history in the heart of the Girona Pyrenees. The project has completely transformed the bathing area, seamlessly integrating it into the hotel’s newly landscaped garden.
Initially conceived as a renovation of the existing pool, the project evolved into a strategic redesign and relocation of the bathing area. The result is a new swimming pool with a water surface area of 120 m², designed to blend harmoniously with the natural surroundings and provide guests with an exclusive space for relaxation, well-being and disconnection.
A swimming pool integrated into the landscape of the Girona Pyrenees
One of the most distinctive features of the project is the organic geometry of the new swimming pool, conceived as an elegant tribute to the design of the original pool. Its flowing lines blend naturally with the new outdoor landscaping, strengthening the connection between the pool area, the garden and the privileged surroundings of Ribes de Freser.
The complete construction of the swimming pool incorporates state-of-the-art finishes carefully selected to blend into the rural surroundings while maintaining an aesthetic that reflects the character of the hotel. Modern water treatment systems have also been installed to improve the performance, efficiency and overall quality of the facility.
