PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The newly opened EPIZEN shopping center, located in the Principality of Andorra, features a set of STAFF Grup phenolic sanitary cabins and partition screens installed in the bathrooms on the first and second floors of the building.
Like many other large surfaces, shopping centers like EPIZEN attract a large number of people who use their facilities every day. To serve and accommodate this demanding public, materials capable of withstanding the test of time, moisture, impacts, as well as cleaning and disinfection products are required.
The material that meets these properties and other equally important ones (fireproof, dirt-repellent, antibacterial, and with a non-porous surface) is phenolic material.

C-7 Cabins and WC Partition Screens
The STAFF C-7 cabin for showers and WC is built with 12mm compacted sheets of phenolic resins. Phenolic material offers the ideal properties highly appreciated by owners and users of shopping centers and other large surfaces with a high volume of daily users:
- It is waterproof and can be fireproof upon request for everyone's safety.
- It has a non-porous antibacterial surface.
- It is wear and impact-resistant, offering great durability.
- It repels dirt, facilitating cleaning and maintenance.
- Its resistance to cleaning products and disinfection allows it to maintain its original color, style, and design.
- Unlike other materials such as wood or melamine, it does not warp with moisture.
A combination of sober colors was chosen, dark brown for the side partitions and light gray for the doors, matching the colors of the other materials used in the installation: walls, floors, ceilings, etc.
They are manufactured in our facilities in Vacarisses, province of Barcelona. Then, they are transported and assembled with horizontal and vertical aluminum profiles finished in matte silver color, without rosettes on the wall, hinges without springs, knobs, indicators for vacant/occupied, adjustable feet, and stainless steel AISI 304 screws.
These structures are installed at a height of 1840 + 150 mm under a standard quality D-S2,d0 according to EN 13501-1.
There is also the possibility, upon request, of quality B-S2,d0 (Ex M1) according to EN 13501-1 Maximum deflection 5.0 mm, density 1.45g/cm3 according to DIN 53479, Water absorption < 3% according to EN 438-2.
