Phenolic equipment at Vall d’Hebron Hospital - Barcelona
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Phenolic wall cladding for the interior walls of the Burn Unit at Vall d'Hebron Hospital in Barcelona, where the doors were also renovated and a reception counter was built.
The phenolic material has the ideal properties to be used in clinic and hospital equipment. It is a material highly resistant to wear, impacts, and cleaning or disinfectant products. In addition, its non-porous, antibacterial, and dirt-repellent surface makes it especially hygienic for these healthcare facilities.
Phenolic wall cladding, doors, and counter
Specifically, at the Vall d’Hebron Hospital in Barcelona, the interior walls of the burn unit were clad with phenolic panels of different sizes and colors. It was also complemented with the installation of double doors with aluminum frames (also made of phenolic resin compact) and a counter for the reception area.
The whole set offers an elegant, uniform, and modern finish, allowing appropriate use and functionality for the facility.
