PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Phenolic wall cladding in the Burn Unit of the Vall d'Hebron Hospital in Barcelona, where doors were also renovated and a reception counter was built.
The phenolic material possesses the ideal properties to be used in clinics and hospitals. It is a highly resistant material to wear, impacts, cleaning products, and disinfectants. In addition, its non-porous, antibacterial, and dirt-repellent surface makes it particularly hygienic for these healthcare facilities.
Specifically, at the Vall d'Hebron Hospital in Barcelona, the interior walls of the burn unit were clad with phenolic panels of different sizes and colors. Additionally, double doors with aluminum frames (also made of phenolic resin composite) were installed, along with a counter for the reception area.
The ensemble offers an elegant, uniform, and modern finish, providing appropriate usability and functionality for the facility.
